Information For Teachers
We are often asked for advice from teachers at both secondary and primary level, and we are able to provide talks for schools, staff permitting, as well as literature about eating disorders in young people. We also archive our articles outlining good practice in schools with regard to eating disorders and have been asked to contribute to various individual schools policy documents and PHSE programmes. Please contact us if we can help you or your school
Information for medical professionals
EDA is a member of the NHS Alliance and is a point of reference for GPs and Primary Care Trusts when signposting patients to our support services. We are always keen to help GPs, nurses and health professionals discuss ways of further helping and supporting patients and families affected by eating related issues. We are happy to supply literature and details of our training days. Please contact us.
