Recovery
Recovery is about working to return to a normalised pattern of behaviours, key factors include diet, weight restoration and activity. Recovery begins as soon as the person struggling with the eating disorder decides that they want to work towards their recovery. Recovery does not follow a steady, linear or consistent pattern and it can have many twists and turns. Recovery is different for every person. This category is about giving you hope and helping you to recognise and support those tentative and positive steps.
